Vorus R. Taylor, age 96, a retired farmer of Louisville, Ky., and formerly of Caneyville, passed away March 26, 1983 in Louisville. He was born August 4, 1886 in Butler County and was the son of John T. Taylor and Mary Hicks. / Survivors include three daughters, Ire Goodall, Louisville, Maude Klaber, Florida and Beulah Geary of Ohio. / Funeral services were held March 28, 1983 at the Dermitt Chapel with the Rev. Ed Dermitt officiating, with interment in the Caneyville Cemetery under the direction of Dermitt Funeral Home – Caneyville.
