Clem Mills, a resident of Bel-Wood Nursing Home in Peoria died on his 89th birthday at 6:10 pm Monday in St. Francis Hospital, where he was admitted November 15.
Born in Lapel, Ind., December 6, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Mills, he was married to Belle Russell in 1943. She died September 30, 1969.
Mr. Mills had lived in the Brimfield and Elmore areas most of his life until moving to the nursing home 13 years ago.
Surviving are one son, Lonnie Mills of Brimfield, one daughter, Mrs. Frances Ross of Red Oak, Iowa; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, one son and six brothers.
Services were held this Thursday in the Patterson Funeral Home with burial in Brimfield Cemetery.
