Born in Emerson Man, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Norman McDougall, pioneer residents there, he came here in 1940 and was employed by Canadian Car Company until his illness in 1955. He was married here in 1944 to the former Katherine Smith. Mr. McDougall was a member of Fort William Elks, Sons of Scotland and adherent of the United Church.
Surviving are his wife and a son Norman at home; one sister Mrs. Margaret Backstrom, Headingley Man; his father in law and mother in law Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smith of 212 Finlayson St.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 pm in the Geo, E. Blake Funeral Chapel. Rev. Allan Minor of Knox United Church will officiate. Interment will be in the family plot Mountainview Cemetery.
The family respectively requests that flowers be omitted.
