h/o Dinah Eugenia Neely
The Alexander family including seven of their ten children migrated for Mecklenburg Co., NC to Madison Co., Tenn. in appr. 1834. The 1830 Indian Removal Act resulted in the Choctaw indians in the Madison Co., TN area being removed westward making the previous indian lands available for the incoming white settlers.
Unmarked grave, believed buried in Madison County, perhaps here where several Alexander family children are buried. Additional burial location input would be appreciated.
