Mrs. Anna B. Whitaker, 60, of 1611 Ivy Road, former employe of the Memphis Park Commission and widow of John H. Whitaker, died yesterday morning at Methodist Hospital. She was a member of Greenland Davant United Methodist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home on Union with burial in Mount Vernon Gardens. She leaves her mother, Mrs. Florence Blair of Memphis; a son, William L. Whitaker of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Violet Stacks of Memphis, Mrs. Louise Thompson of Galena Park, Texas, and Mrs. Odell East of Oxford, Miss., and two brothers, Herschel Blair of Memphis and Herman Blair of Grenada, Miss.
