MRS RAYMOND L MONROE
Funeral services for Mrs. Etta H. Monroe, 62 years old, of 4019 38th Ave. S., will be held at 3 o'clock Wednesday in Forkner's chapel, with burial in Washelli. Mrs. Monroe died Friday after a long illness.

Mrs. Monroe, born in Norfolk, Va., had lived in Seattle 20 years. She was the widow of Raymond L. Monroe, who died in 1937.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Vivian H. McDonald and Miss Mildred Monroe, Seattle; five sons, Lyle and Douglas Monroe, Seattle; Glenn Helme, St. Joseph, Mo.; Staff Sergt. Ralph Helme of the United States Army; Raymond Monroe, Anchorage, Alaska, and Pfc. LeRoy Monroe, also of the Army, one grandchild.

Funeral services for Raymond Monroe, 51 years old, a carpenter, who died Monday in Portland, Ore., will be held at 1 o'clock tomorrow at Forkner's Chapel.

Mr. Monroe had lived in Seattle ten years and was a member of the University Post American Legion. He resided here at 5317 Sixth Ave. N. E. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Etta Monroe; four sons, Ralph, Lyle, LeRoy and Douglas Monroe; and two daughters, Mildred and Vivian Monroe; his mother, Mrs. E. J. Harrington; two sisters, Mrs. Angeline Spangler and Mrs. Oroville Graves; a step-sister, Georgia Harrington; and a step-brother, Lyle Harrington, all of Seattle.
