April 8, 2003 Mr. Boyce Malcolum Murtaugh, 61 of Gaston, SC, husband of Mrs. Bonnita Joyce Rockwood Murtaugh, died Tuesday afternoon, April 8, 2003 at Lexington Medical Center. A native of Syracuse, NY, son of Boyce Francis Murtaugh and Irene Grace Robinson Murtaugh, he had worked in the automobile industry for years as an automobile painter.

In addition to his wife Bonnita, sons, Boyce Travis Murtaugh, Mark Ralph Murtaugh, Stanley William Murtaugh, Thomas Malcolm Murtaugh, all of Syracuse, NY and Matthew Owen Murtaugh, Gaston, SC; daughter Amy Irene Benjamin, Syracuse, NY; and sister, Carol G. Grover, Spencer, NY, Survive.

The family has requested that memorials be made to First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 121, Gaston, SC 29053. South Carolina Cremation & Memorial Society (800)758-9115
