Joanne Saumure Browning, 51, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at University Hospital. Born in Massena, she resided in Syracuse for 11 years.
Joanne spent her time fighting for justice for her daughter, Jill-Lynn Euto, who predeceased her in 2001. She was also predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Theresa Saumure.
Joanne is survived by her daughters, Jenna Euto of Mattydale and Cari (Nathan) Barney of Massena; her beloved dog, Hooch; brothers, Larry Saumure of Connecticut and Steven (Rhonda) Saumure of Liverpool; one grandson, Zack Barney; one nephew, Matthew Saumure; and nieces, Jennifer McLaughlin and Melissa and Heather Saumure.
Calling hours will be held on Monday from noon to 2 p.m., with funeral services to follow at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street. Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
