George Fox Bailey passed away March 25, 2021 at NMMC-Tupelo at the age of 80. He was born January 2, 1941 in Eupora to the late George Samuel and Christine Farley Bailey. He was a cattle salesman for many years. He was a very proud family man. He loved his family and friends. He was a friend to everyone he met.

Funeral services will be 11 AM Monday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dale Funderburg and Rev. Dickie Bryan and Rev. Jim Sallee officiating. A private family interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael McElwain, David McElwain, Justin Bailey, Tom Bailey, Tommy Atkins, Jerry Gary. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Dimino, James Wells, Dickie Bryan, Arky Beale, Robert Smith, Billy White. Visitation will be 10-11 AM Monday at the church. Robinson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Bailey of West Point; sons, Richard Alan Bailey (Deneza) of Madison, Daniel Lyn Bailey (Cresslyn) of Brandon; daughter, Cindy McElwain (David) of West Point; brother, Jack F. Bailey of TX; 5 grandchildren, David McElwain, Aidan Bailey, Serah Bailey, Justin Bailey, Austin Bailey; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Ralph Bailey, Joe Bailey, Thomas Herbert Bailey; and a sister, Martha Bailey Atkins.
