Beloved husband of Clementina (Comacchio) Furlan predeceased. Loving father of Carla (husband Peter) Cox, David (Joan) and Robert (wife Cathy). Cherished and proud Nonno of Andrew, Mae Lynn (Rory), and Brenden.
Dear brother to Rita (Fulvio) Pigozzo, Ilario (Giuseppina), Bruno (Gelinda), and Bruna (Giovanni) Quagliotto. Dear son of Elisa (Fraccaro) and Angelo.
Albano was born in Castello di Godego, Treviso, Italy on January 31, 1935, and came to Canada in 1954 and worked for INCO as a welder for 35 years. He was a long-standing member of the Italian Club Allegri and enjoyed socializing and playing bocce and bowling.
He was a great sports enthusiast never missing a game of hockey, soccer, or the challenging Tour de France. His passions didn't just end with sports, he loved his canaries, gardening, wine making, and tinkering in his garage.
He was a wonderful husband, father and Nonno to his grandchildren whom he adored.
Resting at the Jackson & Barnard Funeral Home, 233 Larch St., Sudbury.

Funeral Mass in St. Paul the Apostle Church, Coniston, Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11am. Interment in the family plot at Civic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
