At Galena Dies
Galena, Kan., Jan. 31. — Mrs. Anos May Ruffin, former teacher in the Galena schools a number of years ago, died Sunday at the home of a niece, Mrs. Clarence Marr, in Fredonia, Kan.
The body will be brought here for funeral services and burial. Graveside rites will be held at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon in the Galena cemetery, with the Rev. Robert Brown, pastor of the Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be under the direction of the Derfelt-Booe funeral home.
Mrs. Ruffin, who had been blind for several years, was a sister of the late Bert Blunk of Galena. She was a cousin of Roy Culver and Ray Culver, both of this city.
Mrs. Ruffin had made her home with her niece in Fredonia the last seven years, prior to which she had lived in Los Angeles, Calif., a number of years.
