Mr. Billy J. Barnes, 74, of Steele, Alabama passed away on March 24, 2021.
Mr. Barnes was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church on Chandler Mountain. He was a lifelong farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Barnes; sons, Tim Barnes (Tammy) and Alex Barnes (Angie); daughter, Amy Bosner (Marty); brothers, J.M. Barnes, David Barnes (Martha) and Kenneth Barnes (Vanessa); and sister, JoAnn Smith, extended generations.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City. Interment will follow at Awtery Family Cemetery.
