Allen Bolin, of Midway, near Hanover, died on Friday about noon, of consumption, of which disease he had been a sufferer for some time. He was aged about 17 years. Deceased was a son of Edward Bolin and wife, of Midway, and besides his parents is survived by a number of smaller brothers and sisters.

He was mail carrier between Hanover and McSherrystown, filling the unexpired term of David Eline. He will be succeeded by his brother, Mark. The funeral was held Monday morning at 9 o'clock, the services being held at St. Mary's Catholic church, McSherrystown. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery at this place.
