Gladys Key Williams, 90, of Moultrie, died Sunday, September 25, 2016 at Legacy Village at Park Regency.

Funeral services were held 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Cobb Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ralph Harrell officiating. Interment followed in Cobb-Suncrest Memorial Gardens.

Born May 29, 1926 in Moultrie, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Frank Key and Jesse Harrod Key. She worked at Riverside Manufacturing Company was the office manager for 10 years with Friedlander's Department Store. Mrs. Williams was a member of Kingwood Baptist Church and attending Oak Grove Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Williams; sister, Ida Mae Boozer; two brothers, James Key and Clifford Key.

Survivors include three children, Eugene Williams, Jr. and Sherry of Hartsfield, Ga., Marlin Leonard Williams of Lake City, Fla. and Barbara Sue Knox and Marvin of Hartsfield, Ga.; four grandchildren, Buffie Slocumb, Holly Connelly, Scotty Knox and Marlin Williams; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Connelly, J.C. Connelly and Ethan Slocumb; a sister, Louise Carver of Jonesboro, Ga.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
