The family of Linda Lea Welborn Ginn will celebrate her life on March 26, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Kornerstone Funeral Directors Chapel (3605 SW 3rd St. Plainview, Texas 79072) with Rev. Lloyd Stice officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd County Memorial Park in Floydada.

A visitation will be from 6pm-8pm on Thursday March 25, 2021 at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Linda passed away on March 21, 2021.

Linda was born on January 7, 1941 to Robert and Nita Welborn. She grew up in New Mexico and Floydada Texas where she met and married the love of her life Vaughn Ginn on August 16, 1959. Vaughn and Linda moved to Petersburg Texas and raised their family on the family farm. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Petersburg Texas. She loved on the children of the church by working in the nursery, teaching Sunday school and working with the youth for many years. She was a Teacher's Aide at Petersburg Elementary School until she became the owner of The Flower Box in Petersburg Tx, where she took great pride in creating "love" in the forms of flowers for all. She moved to Lubbock in 2012 and remained there until her passing.

Linda and Vaughn had 4 children, Phil Ginn (Jo), Kylan Ginn, Caryn Mulanax and Susan McMahan (Eddie). Her greatest blessings were her 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Phil, Jo, Caryn and Susan. Grandchildren Christopher and Nitasha Ginn, Chelsea and Ryan Sumpter, Brooks and Laci Mulanax, Hunter Mulanax, Logan and Allyson Mulanax, Zachary McMahan and Kade McMahan. Great Grandchildren Syrena and Baby Sumpter, Kadience and Deklyn Mulanax, Brantley Mulanax and Baby Mulanax. Siblings Pat and Martha Ginn and Steve and Jancy Rodgers. Her beloved nieces and nephews and many extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by Vaughn Ginn(husband), Nita and Bob Welborn(parents), Guy and Margaret Ginn(parents), Kylan Ginn(daughter) and Eddie McMahan(son).
