COUSHATTA -- Bonnie Carrell Stevens, 89, of Coushatta died Thursday morning in a local hospital after a short illness.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hall Summit Baptist Church in Hall Summit with burial in Mount Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit under the direction of Coushatta Rose-Neath Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Laura Stevens of Coushatta; one son, Chester L. Stevens of Nederland, Texas; one brother, Curtis C. Stevens of Santa Anna, Calif.; two sisters, Pluna Smith of Coushatta and Gladys Gerald of Haynesville; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
