Wilburn Rodgers

Wilburn Holmes Rodgers, 54, of Ocean Springs died Saturday, January 12, at Singing River Hospital in Pascagoula. Mr. Rodgers was a native of Montgomery County, a Navy Veteran of World War II and was employed by Ingalls in Pascagoula.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Kathryn Williams Rodgers of Ocean Springs; one daughter, Wendy Pocknell of London, England; two sons, Ronny Rodgers of Greenwood and Jerry Rodgers of Chicago, Ill.; one step-son, Bud Collier of Picayune; two sisters, Launa Howard of McCarley and Mrs. Ella Mae Brown of Winona; three brothers, Scott Rodgers of Winona, Bill Rodgers of Greenwood and Howard Rodgers of Shaw; three grandchildren and two step-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. M Hull at Oliver Chapel at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 15. Burial was in Mission Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers were Larry Minyard, John Kerr, James E. Howard, Tommy Herod, Howard Caffey and Norton Rodgers.
