Landers Jr., 325-16th NE, died at his home at 12:50 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 23. Services were held Tuesday, Aug. 25, at Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Doyce Mullins officiating. Burial was in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Mr. landers was born Feb. 2, 1932, in Lamar County in the Hinckley community, a son of Claude E. Landers Sr. and Maggie Lou Williams Landers. He attended Novice schools and married Nora Power on June 14, 1958. He was a longtime employee of Babcock and Wilcox. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, DeAnn Pool of Paris; three sons, Glendale Landers, Benny Landers and Ronnie Landers, all of Paris; his mother of Paris; and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Bear of Arlington'.
