SPRINGFIELD - Audrey C. Prichard, 58, of Springfield died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at Memorial Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 28, 1948, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Charles Leslie and Genevieve Eilene Snow Tannahill. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tony Thixton; two brothers, John and Bill Tannahill; and two sisters, Juanita Hipkins and Mary Hetzel.
Mrs. Prichard, a resident of Springfield most of her life, had been a waitress. She had worked at Jungle Jim's Cafe, Bob Evans, Subway and Holiday Inn East.
Surviving are her companion, Andy Prichard of Springfield; son, Robert (wife, Cindy Patterson) Thixton of Springfield; two grandchildren, Misty Thixton and R.J. Thixton, both of Springfield; four sisters, Patricia (husband, Clete) Collins-Zoll of Spaulding, Imogene Sudduth of Springfield, Lola Reed of Wavery and Lillie (husband, Kenny) Gillis of Franklin; brother-in-law, Don Hipkins of Jacksonville; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at Staab Funeral Home. Services will be held there at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, with Vaughn Beeman officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Cemetery.
