THE PARIS NEWS, Fri., Jan. 19, 1996, p.6A. 'Janeral Jack Fain, 84, of Paris died Thursday, Jan. 18, 1996, at St. Joseph's Hospital & Health Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Gene Roden's Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Terry Rogers officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Fain was born July 31, 1912, in Hopkins County, a son of Janeral David and Birdie Fain. He married Ella Mae Harrison Todd in July 1961, in Vernon. He was a member of the Honey Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired ranch hand at the Waggoner Ranch in Vernon, retiring in 1985. Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Patsy Wimberly of Amarillo; one son, J.D. Fain of Clovis, NM; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Johnny and Shelia Todd of Paris; two sisters, Laura Kincaid of Paris and Settie [sic] Rosser of Kemp; two brothers, M. Lewis Fain of Chandler, AZ and B.F. Fain of Hopewell; two granddaughters and their husbands, Melodie and Roger Jones of Paris and Dawn and Keith Thompson of Brookston; a grandson and his wife, Scotty and Terri Todd of Lamar Point. Seven other grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar Fain and Samuel Fain.'
