Died of lockjaw during the Civil War when she was about 9 years old. Her father was away working with a road building crew and the Union Army was passing through Princeton as part of the Red River Campaign. These conditions would have made it nearly impossible to make the journey to Princeton Cemetery. Family history and stories claim that she is actually buried in the front yard of their home in Hollywood Community. Remnants of this old home place still exist on County Road 203; located on the west side of road at a sharp curve. The approximate gps coordinates are: 33.9722, -92.7067.
