Aaron was an avid reader. He enjoyed time outdoors, swimming, exercising, movies, and he loved to cook and bake. He also loved skate boarding, which he did up until the time of his death, even borrowing someone’s skateboard on the streets of NYC while on leave. Aaron was very friendly and could somehow always easily make new friends wherever he went. His smile would literally light up the room.
Aaron died unexpectedly at his home on March 12, 2021.
He is survived by his parents; Greg and Shannon Rund of Marshall. Grandparents Harold Halverson of Marshall and Les and Garnet Peterson of Russell. Many Aunts, Uncles and cousins, all of whom he loved very much.
Aaron was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Joan Marie (VanMoer) Halverson with whom he shared a very special bond. His grandfathers Larry Dean Rund and Leonard Leopold Schultz.
