Raymond served honorably in the United States Army.
He married Marion "Pat" Potter in 1951 and she preceded him in death in 2000.
Raymond worked for Fort Wayne Community Schools for 24 years.
Surviving are his children, Kathy Ervin, Karen (John) Gingrich, Rita (Mike) Beiswenger, Wendy Sarrazin, and Tracy (Melissa) Sarrazin; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Roger (Irene) Sarrazin; and sister, Marilyn Rickman.
Raymond was also preceded in death by his brother, Gordon Sarrazin.
Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2021, at Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church, 1232 Crescent Ave., Fort Wayne (IN 46805), with visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Crescent Avenue United Methodist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Hockemeyer & Miller Funeral Home.
