Wilson Gary Few, 74, of Rockmont Road, Formerly of Spartanburg, died March 7, 1993.


A native of Greer, he was the husband of Sina Newman Few of the home and a son of the late Ernest G. and Annis Forrester Few. He was a member of Augusta Road United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific and achieving the rank of Master Sergeant. He was retired from Southern Bell Telephone Co. and was a life member of the Blue Ridge Council of Telephone Pioneers of America.


Also surviving are two sisters, Odele Few of Taylors and Hazel F. McIntyre of Greenville and three brothers, Ernest B. Few of Asheville, N.C., Henry E. Few of Taylors and John B. Few of Lilburn, GA.


Visitation will be from 1 to 7:30 tonight at the Mackey Mortuary.


Services will be at 3:30PM Tuesday at the Mackey Mortuary by the Rev. Steven D. Gillespie. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park, C.M. Gaffney Masoleum.


It is requested that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Augusta Road United Methodist Church Building Fund, 198 Augusta Road, Piedmont, S.C. 29673 or to the American Cancer Society, 1010 E. North St., Suite 6, Greenville, SC 29601
