DEATH OF REBECCA R. BLAINE
Rebecca R. Blaine, widow of the late N. G. Blaine, aged 86 years, died at 10:30 Thursday evening, from heart failure, after an illness of only a few days. Mrs. Blaine died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. W. O. Wirt, with whom she has made her home.
Mrs. Blaine was born at Washington, Pa., August 5, 1826. Since 1868 she was made her home here and for many years was actively identified with church social interests. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church.
The funeral will be held at the residence Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock. The services will be private and Rev. Marcus P. McClure of the First Presbyterian church will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Hill cemetery.

Widow of the Late N. G. Blaine is Buried.
The funeral of Mrs. Rebecca A. Blaine was held Saturday afternoon at her residence, 716 Willow avenue. The services were private and were conducted by Rev. Marcus P. McClure. Burial was at Walnut Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Blaine was almost 86 years old. She had been unusually well, but was taken ill Monday with heart trouble and died Thursday night at 10 o'clock. She was the widow of the late N. G. Blaine, who was a brother of the late James G. Blaine. Mrs. Blaine was also a sister of the late Thomas Officer and Robert Officer, and of Mrs. W. H. M. Pusey, who is now the only surviving member of the Officer family. She leaves one daughter, Mrs. W. O. Wirt.
Mrs. Blaine had been a resident of Council Bluffs since 1868 and was a member of the First Presbyterian church.
