She was born May 27, 1938 in Danville to Donald and Florence (Blanchard) Colopy. She was a member of the St. Luke Catholic Church in Danville
Marilyn is survived by her children, Daniel (Laurie) Arnold, Deb (Criss) Steinmetz, Linda Oliver, and Karen (Dave) Byers, grandchildren, Derrick (Shannon) Steinmetz, Beau Oliver, Tyler Savage, Eli Oliver, and Hannah Oliver, seven great grandchildren, a brother, Patrick Colopy; and a sister, Margaret Samples.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Donald J. Arnold, her son, Joseph Edward Arnold, sisters, Barbara Colopy, Regina Randall, and Florence E. Heldenbrand, and brothers, Donald, Richard “Dick” Colopy, and Robert “Bob” Colopy.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Luke Catholic Church on Saturday November 28 at 11:00 a.m. Father Homer Blubaugh will officiate. Face coverings will be required, and capacity will be reduced. There will be visitation for an hour before the Mass. Burial will follow in St. Luke Cemetery.
