80, a resident of Somerville, died Friday, September 14th, in the Brockton VA Hospital. Mr. Spadaro was born in Cambridge, MA on October 8, 1926, the son of the late Joseph and Delmonica (Romeo) Spadaro. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII. Mr. Spadaro is survived by his son, Francis J. Spadaro, Jr. and his wife Barbara of Pelham, NH; 2 daughters, Karen Conlon and her husband Richard, and Maryann Schwamb and her husband Clinton all of Arlington; a sister, Anna Cambell of Somerville; and 10 grandchildren. He is also the brother of the late John and the late Joseph Spadaro and the late Johanna Canejo. A private burial service was held on Monday, September 17th at Bourne National Cemetery. His memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday in St. Eulalia Church in Winchester, MA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Somerville Cambridge Elder Care Services, 20-40 Holland Street, Somerville, MA 02144.
