Mrs. Plummer Dies in Rapid City
Mrs. Rose Miriam Plummer, long-time resident of the Lead-Deadwood area, died Sunday night in a Rapid City Hospital where she had been a patient since Friday afternoon. Although Mrs. Plummer had been ill for the past four weeks, her death was unexpected.
Born Sept. 2, 1897 in Marysville, Mont., the family family moved to Terraville when she as five years old. She attended the Terraville grade school and graduated from Lead High School. She was married in 1931 to Archie Plummer and the couple made their home in Central City.
Survivors in addition to her husband include a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Will Abbott, San Francisco, Calif.
Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Wells Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. H. Jack Berg officiating.
