Karl D. Girón, age 60, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021.
Karl was born in Albuquerque, NM on June 28, 1960.
Karl was preceded in death by his parents, Florian and Stella Girón and his sister, Catherine "Jeanette" García.
Karl is survived by wife, Antoinette, daughter, Kasondra Rae, granddaughters, Aubri Isabella and Kennedy Rose as well as countless family members and friends.
Karl attended Sandia High School, New Mexico State University where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree and University of Phoenix where he obtained a Master's Degree.
Karl served one term in the United States Air Force Air National Guard.
Karl was self-employed for 22 years and achieved many accomplishments throughout his life. Karl loved golf, fly fishing, hunting, softball, riding his Harley and attending Dallas Cowboys football games.
Service will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Calvary Church on Osuna Rd.
The family would like to give special thanks to Pammela and Paul Wynn, Kelly and the amazing staff at Lovelace Medical Center downtown in the Covid Intensive Care Unit.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in Karl 's honor to American Cancer Society and UNM Children's Hospital.
