Funeral services for Myron "Mike" S. Lepley, 37, a graduate of Brown's Business College of Davenport, were held this week at the Christian Church in Union, Iowa. Mr. Lepley, who formerly lived here, was killed at his home in Grundy county when he fell from a hay mow and broke his neck.
He was born on July 7, 1905, the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Lepley at Union, and graduated Valedictorian of his class at Union High School. He married Norma Pauline Brondel at Rock Island on March 3, 1932.
Survivors include his widow and one son, Fred John, both at home; his mother, Mrs. Mattie Lepley of Union; three brothers, Everett and Cleve, both of Eldora, and E. Peter of Union; and one sister, Mrs. Clayton Baker of Eldora.
A daughter, Maureen Sylvia and his father preceded him in death.
