Surviving are a daughter, Tracy Ranae Harper (Roy) of West Cork, Ireland; a son, Kevin Ray Musselman in Washington; longtime companion for over 20 years, Vickie K. Dixon; her daughter, Jennifer K. Raible (Matthew) of Warrenton, VA, three grandchildren: Addison, Jack and Evaline Raible; and two brothers: Melvin Musselman (Jackie Ketterman) and George Musselman (Mary Louise) both of Woodbury.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tonya Lanae Musselman on September 2, 1969; five sisters: an infant sister, Rosie Frederick, Adelene Ebersole, Laura Mae Boyer, Ada Shaw; and two brothers: Homer and Arthur Musselman.
Ray was a 1955 graduate of Replogle High School, New Enterprise and a U.S. Navy veteran serving from 1955 until 1958 attaining the rank of Seaman 1st Class. He was a member of Clover Creek Church of the Brethren, the D. Merl Tipton V.F.W. Post 43, Martinsburg and a lifetime member of Bonner-Sollenberger American Legion Post 456, Williamsburg. Ray retired in 1999 as a lineman for Valley Rural Electric with 27 years of service. He loved spending time with his family and also enjoyed traveling, especially going to the beach.
A graveside service with military honors is being planned for a later date at Holsinger Cemetery, rural Roaring Spring. Arrangements are by John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg. Memorial contributions in memory of Ray may be given to your favorite local charity.
