Alberta Maxine Snoke, 82, of Indianola passed away at 3:38 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21, 2007, at the Newman Care Center in Newman.
She was born June 14, 1925 in Indianola to Lewis and Letious Cook Hagerman. She married Cecil H. Snoke in 1941. He died in 1988.
Survivors include four sons, Gene (Kris) Snoke, Memphis, Tennessee, Gary (Sondra) Snoke, Sidell, Ronald (June) Snoke, Ridge Farm and Elmer (Cheryl Gill) Snoke, Metcalf; one daughter, Letious (Kenneth) Hubbard, Indianola; 12 granddaughters; 29 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
She enjoyed writing poetry and karaoke. She was a member of the former Indianola Lioness Club and Bethel Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Indianola.
