BOUNTIFUL - William Alvey Wright, age 77, passed away on October 15, 1983.
Born December 13, 1905 in Escalante, Utah to Edward and Sarah Alvey Wright. Married to Nellie Buckley Wright. Marriage was later solemnized on November 11, 1935 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Retired supervisor for the Salt Lake Tribune after many years of service. Lived in Bountiful for the past 32 years. Member of the LDS Church, Bountiful 43rd Ward. Was a High Priest. Former member of the Salt Lake City 9th ward Bishopric.
Survivors: wife of Bountiful; one son, Michael E. Wright, Bountiful; preceded in death by a son, William A. Wright, Jr.; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Alice Hall, St. George; Mrs. Hulda Spencer, Mt. Pleasant.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 1983 at 12 noon at the Bountiful 43rd Ward. Interment, Bountiful Memorial Park.
