George H. Goodale, 70, entered eternal life on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at his home in Jeffersonville, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 14, 1950 to the late William and Margaret Goodale (Beckham) in New Albany, Indiana. George retired from CSX Transportation after 35 years of service to the railroad. He was a member of the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus) and a past member of the Sellersburg Volunteer Fire Department (Station 2). George enjoyed his volunteer work with the Speed Church Food Pantry and the Community Kitchen of Jeffersonville. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Goodale.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Brenda Breihof Goodale of Jeffersonville, his son, Steven Goodale of Eminence, Kentucky, his daughter, Amy Berryman (Ralph) of New Albany, his brothers, James Goodale of New Albany, John Goodale (Denise) of Lanesville, Michael Goodale of Clarksville and his sister, Mary Hehr (Wade) of Fredericksburg. George also leaves behind 6 grandchildren to cherish his memory.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at the St. John Paul II Catholic Church (St. Paul Campus) with interment to follow at St. Mary Catholic
Cemetery in New Albany.
