Helen was the fourth of seven children of Benjamin Franklin "Frank" Buie & Carrie J. Thomas. Her parents and four of her sisters also are buried in this cemetery. Helen married Dewey Linder about 1930. They had one son, Lionel, born 1932. Helen and Dewey divorced before 1940. Their son grew up to become a prominent newspaper editor.
