Barbara was born on april 21, 1951 in Lafayette, Louisiana to Joseph T. Fabacher, Sr. and Dorothy Fabacher. She had lived in the area Orange area since 2003. Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the CFMA Gulf Coast Cajuns Chapter. She enjoyed going to Bingo, going to the senior center and loved spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Fabacher, her father, Joseph T. Fabacher Sr., her son, Anthony Joseph Walker, stepson, Samuel Aubrey Kilchrist, her brothers, Leo P. Fabacher and Clarence R. Fabacher.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Aubrey Joseph Kilchrist of Orange, he son, James Ray Walker of Vidor, her sister, Elizabeth Ann Kilchrist and her husband, Steve of Nederland, her brother, Joseph T. Fabacher, Jr. and his wife, Diane of Toledo Bend. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves, with a gathering of Family from 11:00 AM until service time. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
Due to the Covid-19 crisis we are currently in, all visitors to the funeral home are required to wear facemask or coverings and practice social distancing.
