Marvin Ray Tannahill was the last boy born to Glen Ray Tannahill and Irene Miller. Nearby were many family members and Ray spent much time with his grandparents William and Lillian Tannahill. On Nov 15, 1948 Ray married Betty Jean Henry. To this union were born two boys, Robert Leroy and Marvin Ray. His son's remember him most for being their Scoutmaster while they were young. He had a great love of camping and hunting. After he retired his son, Marvin, got him involved in pistol silouette shooting. In one of the National Championships that the family attended Ray won the senior division, grandaughter, Brandy won the junior division, and son Marvin won the open class at that match.
He loved his family. He died on March 20, 2004 in Pico Rivera, Calif. where he owned a little house and had lived all of his married life. He was 77 years old.
