Woodruff, SC - May 22 - Mrs. Caroline Waddell, 85, died at 1 o'clock at her home in the Green Pond section after a nine weeks illness.
Funeral services will be held from the Green Pond Baptist Church tomorrow at 3 p.m. conducted by the Rev. C. L. Boyter. Burial will be made in the church yard.
Mrs. Waddell was the widow of the late Ellison Waddell, a farmer of Greenwood. She was the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Daniel Rogers and lived in the Green Pond community practically all her life. She is survived by four sons, W. D. Waddell and J. Van Waddell, of Green Pond; A. J. Waddell, of Greer, and Daniel Waddell, of Woodruff, Route 4, and a sister, Mrs. J. W. Neal, of Woodruff, Route 1.
