Betty Lynn Catena, 62, of Chesapeake Beach passed away November 20, 2014 at her residence.

She was born May 9, 1952 in Washington, D.C. to John and Betty (Morrissette) Catena.

Betty's family lived in Langley Park, MD, and she moved to Chesapeake Beach in her early teens. She graduated from High Point High School.

Betty was a homemaker, and was also employed as a mail carrier in Rose Haven and North Beach. She also worked at Roland's Grocery in their meat department. Betty enjoyed living near the Chesapeake Bay, and enjoyed going to the beach, watching hummingbirds. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Donald and John Catena.

Betty is survived by her son Charles J. Jones and wife Jennifer of Huntingtown, and Jaime L. Jones of Chesapeake Beach. Also surviving are grandchildren Tristen N. Jones of Chesapeake Beach and Amiah R. Jones of Huntingtown.
