MORTIMER T. BROADWATER Mortimer Totten Broadwater, aged 76, died on Friday evening, February 18, about 7 o'clock, at the home of Albert Hershman, near Oakland.
He was a retired farmer and was born in this county March 23, 1872, a son of the late William Edward and Sarah Whetsell Broadwater.
He was a member of the Dunkard Brethren Church of Sallow Falls.
Surviving are one son, Vernon Broadwater, Oakland; three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Wilt, of Dry Run, and Mrs. Susan Smith, Barton.
Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the Bolden Funeral Home with Brother Dorsey, of Salisbury, Pa., officiating.
Internment was in Broadwater cemetery.
