WICONISCO - Elizabeth A. "Betty" Charney, age 74, of 401 Center Street, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2003 at home.
She was retired from the PA Department of Labor & Industry, Bureau of Employment and Security, after 43 years of service. She was a graduate of the former Wiconisco High School and a member of Our Lady Help Of Christians Catholic Church, Lykens.
She was born in Wiconisco on November 23, 1928, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Kostival Charney.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 23, in the Parish Cemetery, with Father Robert S. Panza, officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
