Alberindo Pasquale "Abie" Nardone, 82, of the Old Boston section of Jenkins Twp., passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021, at home. Born in Pittston on Oct. 26, 1938, he was the son of the late Peter Louis and Julia Lussi Nardone.

Abie was a graduate of Jenkins Twp. High School, class of 1956, and served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Ingraham during the Vietnam War.

He retired from Tobyhanna Army Depot, where he worked as an electronics technician.

Abie enjoyed everything outdoors like hunting, fishing, gardening, sports and simply going for a long walk. He loved to talk to people and always seemed to have an opinion about something. He was a former member of the Old Boston Roma Club and Amvets.

Abie is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth Ann Francis Nardone; sons, James Albert Nardone and Peter Anthony Nardone, all of Old Boston; sister, Clara Scavo, Old Forge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A walk-through visitation will be held on from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Adonizio Funeral Home LLC, 251 William St., Pittston. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Marello Parish, 237 William St., Pittston. Those attending are asked to go directly to church Saturday morning.

Private interment will be in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
