Shelia graduated from Stephan Decatur High School in 1971. She worked various cleaning jobs and for Perdue Farms as a supervisor for over 35 years.
She loved to plant flowers, and enjoy the outside even if it included nothing but sitting on her porch listening to music and watching the cars go by. She was such a social butterfly and her love for people was contagious to those that were around her. She had an energetic personality, “The hostess with the mostest,” cooking, dancing, and partying from dusk to dawn. She would make you laugh just by “trying to whisper,” by saying some of her phrases, “Don’t trick me,” “Every eye closed, is not asleep,” and “You only live once.” She lived to be loved, to love, and most of all to laugh.
Shelia was preced in death by Esther Fisher (mother), Sylvia Davis (sister), Takisha Holland-Hopkins (daughter), and Ineshia Snead (granddaughter).
She was survived by 2 sons, Jermain Johnson (Texas) and Russel Holland (Baltimore, MD), 3 daughters, Takosha Morman (Felton, DE), Inez Jones (George Jones) (Ellendale, DE), Sheleena White (Thomas White) (Princess Anne, MD), 1 sister Betty Davis (Salisbury, MD), Tony Davis (Carnetta Davis) (Berlin, MD), 20 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
