Terry Ray Lancaster, 72, of Brownwood passed away Thursday, April 9, 2020.
Terry was born December 8, 1947 in Gorman to Newton Mark & Mabel Lancaster.
He graduated from May ISD. Terry worked for Superior Essex more than 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but loved traveling to the mountains and spending time in the fresh mountain air camping.
Terry was infatuated with the civil war era of our history. He would research topics and enjoyed visiting battle sites and museums. His favorite music was Texas swing music with his favorite singer being Bob Wills and his Texas Playboys.
He was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in May and served many years on the Wolf Valley cemetery board.
Terry is survived by his sons, Steven and wife Leslie Lancaster, Cary Lancaster & Alan and wife Cindy Lancaster all of Brownwood; and several nieces, nephews & friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Glen Roy Lancaster; and his sister, Peggy Ribble.
