Mrs. Rowe was an old and well known resident of the city, where she had lived practically all her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and took an active part in its affairs. She was also identified with the Jno. T. Morgan Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and the Andrew Jackson Chapter of the Daughters of the American revolution.
Of her immediate family Mrs. Rowe is survived by her children, Mrs. Geo. R. Arnold of New Orleans, Mrs. Martha R. Wallis, of Los Angeles, W. S. Hyatt of Memphis, French B. Rowe, of Akron, and Reuben M. Rowe, of Talladega. Two brothers, Jno. C. Williams and P. S. Williams of Talladega also survive.
