Oneta L. Brandon, 77, of Pocola, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002. She was born Oct. 24, 1924 at Hackett, Ark. She was a retired minister's wife.

Survivors include her husband Kenneth Brandon of the home; one daughter, Alta Brandon of Fort Smith; three sons, Dennis Brandon of Irving, Texas, David Brandon of Pocola and Carl Brandon of Oklahoma City; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters, Marie Higgins of Fort Smith, Bonnie Higgins of Pocola and Bobbie Carter of Spiro; five brothers, Lloyd Lovell of Fort Smith, Oren Lovell Jr. of Spiro, Harold Lovell of Pocola, Kenneth Lovell of Cave Springs, Ariz. and Jimmy Lovell of Hackett, Ark.; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4 at Murray Spur Free Will Baptist Church in Spiro with Pastor Bill Burgess and the Rev. Gene Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Cemetery at Pocola under the direction of Evans & Miller Funeral Home of Pocola.
