They were the parents of Harriet E (Horace Spencer, Idaho), Dora B (1873, Peter Brown), Cora (1873, O.P. Hittenmark), Alice (George McKay, North Dakota), and Nettie (1879). Sidney was a farmer in Providence township, Buena Vista Co, IA.

The Newell Mirror - Friday , October 31st, 1890 - S.S. Maunard has sold his Providence township farm to J.L. Bonnett, of Alta, taking in exchange Mr. Bennett's livery stable at Alta. We understand that Mr. Bennett will move to the farm, and that Mr. Maynard will soon take possession of the livery stable. Mr. Maynard understands horses well, and ought to make a good liveryman.
