Linda Hinerman, 93, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

Linda was born October 16, 1927 to Charles Lee and Lydia Emelina Ivie Lee in Tabiona. She was the youngest of seven children. After the passing of both of Linda’s parents, at the age of five, she was raised by her older sister, Ida Bond, in Heber City. After moving to Salt Lake City, Linda worked for J. I. Case Company and General Motors. She married Donald Hinerman in 1945. Together, they had four children. Later divorced.

She met and married the love of her life, Dan Bolinder, in 1972. Linda and Dan enjoyed their blended family and adventures until Dan was killed in an airplane crash in 1978. Linda and Don later remarried in February 1981; Don died in 2009. Linda and Don were married for a total of fifty-one years.

Linda was an avid Jazz fan and helped lead the Jazz to twenty-seven wins in the 2020-2021 season by watching them religiously and cheering them on. Thank you to Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, and the Jazz for creating such positive energy. She could cook like no other and crocheted beautifully. Linda loved to play cards and was an avid reader. She had a passion for family and enjoyed family barbeques and all holidays. She enjoyed camping with her daughter, Pat, and son-in-law, Barry. Her family was her life. Linda was very close to her nieces, Jane, Betty, Lynda, and Carolynn.

Linda is survived by three children, Pat (Barry) Blumhagen, Craig (Connie) Hinerman, and Lance (JoLynn) Hinerman; ten grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and three step-sons, Gene, Dave, and Kenny Bolinder, and their families. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Randy Hinerman; step-son, Bob Bolinder; three brothers; three sisters; and granddaughter, Heather Gagnard.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, with a viewing prior from 12:00-1:30 p.m. inside the mortuary.
