She was married to Herbert G. Shepherd on November 30, 1899 in Carroll County. Ohio.

Her obituary in the Free Press Standard, Carrollton, Ohio, Thursday, January 5, 1961.

Mrs. Georgiana Shepherd, 86, of Rt. 1, Amsterdam, died Saturday night at her home after a three-week illness. She was a member of Harlem Springs Presbyterian Church and Straw Camp Grange.

Widow of the late Herbert Shepherd, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Velma Robbins of Bergholz, Mrs. Helen Newbold of Mechanicstown and Mrs. Martha George of Harlem Springs; two sons, Frank of the home, and Burdette of Rt. 2, Carrollton; a brother, Edward Allmon of Bergholz; 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Services were Tuesday in Bergholz with the Rev. David Lee Thomas of Carrollton officiating. Burial was in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
