Mr. Richard Lennart (Dick) Millberg, age 88, of Shelbyville, passed away on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Salude Rehabilitation Center in Suwanee, GA.

Dick was born on March 23, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska to the late Lennart Martin Millberg and Hilda Johnson Millberg. He was a graduate of Central High School, college graduate of the University of Minnesota, Penn State, and Georgia Tech. Dick served his country in the Air Force as a meteorologist from June 1, 1954 to December 2, 1957 and was stationed in Germany. Dick moved his family to Shelbyville in 1974 to work as a textile engineer at Fly Manufacturing. Dick was a faithful member, deacon, and choir member at First Baptist Church. In 2018, Dick moved to Johns Creek, Georgia to be cared for by one of his daughters.

Preceding him in death was his wife of 55 years, Nancy Smith Millberg.

Survivors include his two daughters Nancy Anne (Nan) (Dale) Cash of Brentwood, Tennessee, and Melissa Lynne (Missy) (Todd) Henrich of Johns Creek, GA; his sister, Lorraine Millberg Heron of Birmingham, Alabama; and his four grandchildren Andrew Dale Cash (Courtney), Lea Katherine Cash, Katherine Elizabeth Henrich, and Lucy Caroline Henrich.

Dick will be remembered during a live stream Celebration of Life officiated by Reverend Jeff Rasnick on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 1:00 pm CST on First Baptist Church's Facebook page. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 304 Depot Street, Shelbyville, Tennessee 37160.
